Wrappily helps you remember birthdays and gift occasions for the people in your circle, and suggests gift ideas for them. This policy explains what information the app collects, how it is used, and the choices you have. If you have questions, contact us at wrappilyapp@gmail.com.
Account information. If you create an account, we collect your email address and store your password securely through our authentication provider (Supabase Auth). You can use Wrappily without an account; in that case your data stays only on your device.
Buddy profiles you add. The people, birthdays, interests, occasions, and notes you enter are stored so the app can remind you and suggest gifts. This information is about other people — you provide it, and it is only used to run the app for you. It is never used to contact those people.
Feedback and problem reports. If you send feedback or report a problem with a gift link from inside the app, we receive the message you wrote, plus the gift name, product identifier or search terms, and the app version, so we can fix it.
Gift catalog. The app downloads a gift-idea catalog from our servers. That catalog is the same for everyone and contains no information about you.
Wrappily does not collect your location, does not import your phone contacts (buddies are typed in by hand), does not upload photos (buddy photos stay on your device), and does not collect payment information. The app contains no advertising or analytics SDKs, and we do not sell personal information to anyone.
Reminders are scheduled locally on your device. Gift links open in your external browser on Amazon; as an Amazon Associate, Wrappily earns from qualifying purchases. Amazon's own privacy policy applies once a link opens in your browser.
Your data is stored with Supabase, our backend service provider, which processes it only to provide the service. Access to your buddy profiles is restricted to your account. We do not share personal information with advertisers or other third parties, and we do not sell it.
Your account data is kept while your account is active. You can delete individual buddies inside the app at any time. To request deletion of your account and all associated data, email wrappilyapp@gmail.com from the email address on the account, and we will delete it.
Wrappily accounts are created by adults. Buddy profiles may include children in your family (for example, to remember a child's birthday), but the app is not directed at children as users, and we do not knowingly collect information directly from children.
If this policy changes, we will update the date above and, for material changes, note it in the app. Continued use of Wrappily after a change means you accept the updated policy.
